This was a song that Ant first came up with a bassline for, then slowly took shape during practice. One night at my house we were jamming till late, and he gave me the theme of what he envisioned the song to be about, essentially lost love. Or something like that. It really came together once the drums took shape.

Where were you, when we felt the same
Our hearts were bare, intentions tame
Save my love, save my loveInnocence, so trivial
Circumstance, pitiful
Save my love, save my loveIn my mind, your perfect stance
So hard to feel, or understand
Paths obscured, steps erased
Broken glance from your perfect face
Save my loveLost with out you
If you can’t tell we watch ABC too much.

Okay, I still did not get this one right…Maybe I should shave my head and try to be a monk.
